Ever been confronted by your neighbors for having loud sex?  No?  Well up until yesterday, my answer would have been the same.  Not any more!  Last Saturday night I brought a gentleman home with me  we had an enjoyable evening and then a repeat performance in the morning.

But when I got out of bed, I noticed a piece of paper lying under my front door.  It said, 

"Dear Neighbor,

Do us a favor by not sharing your most intimate experience with the rest of the building.  UNBELIEVABLE.

And make sure to take off your shoes when entering your apartment so I don't hear your footsteps above my head."

Wow.  I was speechless.  I wasn't sure whether to be outraged or embarrassed.  My guy just thought it was pretty funny.  This guy sounds like he could do with a screaming girl of his own, me thinks!

I can understand being annoyed by neighbor noise - I can hear when people climb the stairs past my apartment and every word they say as they pass my door.  I can hear the girl above me walking around and even some of her conversations.  The walls are pretty paper thin in this building!

Well it seems like this is actually quite a common problem, judging by this graph.  And to tell you the truth, while my noises are not involuntary, making me curtail them will definitely impact on my ability to feel free to enjoy myself.  So should I quieten down for the benefit of my neighbors?

Help me out, and tell me what I should do!
